I recently created over 30 exercise GIFS for our PE classes and online learners. I added many of those GIFS to two different fitness warm-ups called AROUND THE HORN DICE FITNESS and AROUND THE HORN MUSIC FITNESS! Each warm-up has 4 different versions. Each version includes 4 different exercises focusing on strength and endurance.
Place four cones numbered 1-4 in each of the four corners
Partners begin at one of the 4 corners
Partner one rolls the dice
Partners run around that number of corners (cones)
Perform 10 repetitions of the exercise assigned to the corner
Partner two rolls the dice
Repeat steps 4 and 5
Continue for 3-5 minutes
How many times can partners run AROUND THE HORN?
The music version of the game, AROUND THE HORN MUSIC FITNESS, uses the same 4 game boards but instead of dice, the teacher controls the movement by playing and stopping the music.
